Thai Massage
Thai Massage is a traditional healing modality practiced in Thailand for centuries. Thai Massage is based on Ayurvedic medicine and yoga from India. This art form has been handed down through an unbroken chain of Masters.
A complete Thai Massage incorporates a traditional combination of acupressure, energy-meridian work, and yoga-like stretches. In Thai Massage, there is no oil used. The therapist uses a mat on the floor to treat the client.
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan is a moving meditation art form practiced in China for hundreds of years.
Tai Chi Chuan is good for your health and well-being, in that it works on all aspects of the body. Tai Chi is primarily focused on moving Chi (the life force or unseen energy).
Most people think Tai Chi Chuan is for old people, but it is not. Anyone can practice Tai Chi Chuan and gain the same benefits.
Korean Style Yoga
This art form is offered as another form of complementary healing. Whereas Tai Chi is considered moving meditation, this art form is more static. Sitting, standing, and lying on the floor are all part of a typical session in class.
The intent is to loosen the joints and massage the muscles in order to allow for good Chi to flow in the body. This art form is an ancient healing modality practiced only by a few persons in Korea.
